These services are only carried out on vehicles used exclusively off-road or in motorsport. For road cars we diagnose and repair the system instead.

How AdBlue works

AdBlue, also called Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), is injected into the exhaust of modern diesel engines. In the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system it breaks down harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) into nitrogen and water.

When a sensor, pump, heater or injector fails, the ECU can restrict performance or stop the engine restarting. Diagnosing the real cause first is usually the cheapest fix.
